What I want to be when I grow up
I have always wanted to be a writer and an artist, and now, it is finally time to get serious! With my wonderful husband's support, I am starting to see these dreams come true.
Over 16 years ago...
this story, among others, started rolling around in my head, and when it comes to technology, that feels like ages! When I first starting doing the research for this book, whose story takes place in 1818, I had to go to the library and spend hours just trying to find any tidbit of information about the time period. Now, the internet can take me right into the archives of libraries in England, where more than half of the story takes place.

When the pandemic had us all still locked down after the holidays, I decided that it was time to get this story out of my head and onto the page.
